  • What is the start-to-finish process of purchasing a gown from R O Z I E ?
Your initial appointment will include an hour and a half session with an expert stylist, where you will try on our gown samples along with a glass of bubbly (we also have non-alcoholic refreshments available!). If a made-to-order gown purchase is made, we'll take your measurements and order the closest dress size as agreed by you. Once the gown arrives, you'll come back in for a follow up appointment to pick up your gown and do final inspections. You will then consult with a seamstress to do any final tweaks i.e. hem the gown and make sure the gown is fit to perfection. Between R O Z I E and our seamstresses, expect to attend at least 2 fittings from start to finish.
  • How far in advance should I begin dress shopping?
In order to ensure you are not rushed with your decision making, we recommend that you begin your gown search 12 months in advance of your wedding date. Most of our designers have a 6 month lead time, as is standard with most boutiques. Your alterations usually take 2 months so we always recommend ordering your gown at least 9 months before your wedding date. This is the ideal, not the absolute so don’t panic. Contact us if you have a shorter time frame, in most cases there will be a rush option available.
  • What does Made-To-Order mean when ordering my gown?
Made-To-Order means that there is no stock of your gown and the making of the gown begins once you place your order. The most important thing to note is that made-to-order gowns are ordered to the closest numerical dress size based on measurements taken at R O Z I E. The gown is not made to exact measurements (which is referred to as "Made-To-Measure"). In order to achieve the perfect fit, the bride must seek the assistance of a seamstress where we can offer expert fittings.
  • What is the price range of your designer gowns and accessories?
Our made to order gowns range from £1633 to £4320 with most falling in the £2500 - £3500 price bracket. Our veils and accessories range from £50 - £1000 +. Please email us if you would like to know the specific price of an item.
  • Do you offer custom gowns?
Yes in some instances subject to the style and designer, slight alterations can be made i.e. short sleeves vs. long sleeves, different neckline, train length etc, however most of our gowns are ordered true to the intention and design of the gown. If you are planning on a “Bespoke” design, we offer this service alongside the designers at Louamé. Please note a minimum of 6 months lead time is required for a Bespoke gown.
  • What is a Trunk Show?
A trunk show is a limited period of time for brides to view additional styles from a particular designer outside of what R O Z I E has previously curated in store or a designer that we do not usually hold in store and is not stocked in the UK. In some cases, there is special pricing available during the show. These trunk shows are by appointment only and have limited times to view, so please book your appointment as soon as you know you want to be part of this experience.
  • What size gowns are available to try on?
The majority of our gown samples are a UK size 12, but please note that your gown can be ordered up to a UK size 20, depending on the designer.
  • What if there is a gown that I like from a designer that you carry, but you don’t carry that particular sample?
While we can't carry entire collections from each of our designers, we sometimes have the ability to request particular samples. Please email if you'd like to enquire about requesting a gown that we don't carry permanently – info@rozie-bride.com
  • What are your payment terms?
We require a 50% deposit to place an order, and the remaining 50% balance payment 8 weeks later. You will have 48 hours to cancel your order before we place it with the designer and the deposit will be non-refundable. Sample gowns must be paid for in full.
  • How long will it take for my made-to-order gown to arrive?
Depending on the designer there is a 5 - 6 month lead time for all made-to-order gowns. We have some very select styles that can be made in less time, so if you're going to be saying “I do” sooner, email us on info@rozie-bride.com Rush orders are available upon request, but keep in mind that rush fees will apply.
  • Do you offer / include alterations?
Alterations are a separate cost from the purchase of your gown. We have the industry’s best seamstresses on hand that you can book with us to fit your gown. However, you can of course arrange your own alterations if you would prefer. Contact us for further information.
  • How much do alterations typically cost?
When you come in for your first fitting we will provide you with an alterations quote. This will be based on what alterations we advise to be done to achieve the perfect fit. Depending on the level of your alteration needs, expect costs on average to range between £350 - £700.
  • Returns and exchanges
